The Research Group Literature and Science from the University of Bergen, Norway organizes on 30 and 31 January 2015 an Interdisciplinary Conference ‘Ageing Histories, Mythologies and Taboos’.  This conference is particularly remarkable as it brings together scholars from different fields of the Humanities, including experts on Russian, English, French, Italian, German, Nordic and Scandinavian Literature. It is a sign that aging is increasingly seen as an intrinsic part of life and as an important subject of study and reflection.
